MATILDA AUDITION SUBMISSION

Matilda the Musical will be a full-length production featuring a cast of 14 performers, including 8 children (ages 6–11), adult roles, and a small ensemble.

This is an audition-based production, and not all that audition will be cast.

Anyone interested in auditioning must register through the website. To do this, add this production fill out form above. The total cost is currently set at $0.00—this step is only to collect your registration information.

Once registered, all applicants will receive an email with instructions for submitting an online audition by May 15. The audition will include a song, monologue, and dance routine. Show materials for the song and dance will be provided in advance to give you time to prepare.

Callbacks, if needed, will be held in person and communicated directly by the director.

Performers who are cast in the production will be required to pay a $100 production fee after the show has been cast.

All rehearsals and performances will take place at the Texas Theater in downtown Waxahachie.

Slate: 1 minute monologue of your choice and 1 minute song of your choice. Singers should be singing along with an accompaniment and a dance routine that will be sent to you a couple weeks before the audition is due.
